The Ghost that Moved Pictures

When Frances Freeborn moved into a house in Bakersfield, California, in 1981, she did not expect to encounter the spirit of the previous owner. The spirit seemed to disapprove of her alterations to the house and when Frances tried to hand an old picture in several different places, it was always on the floor the next morning. Then she felt directed to hang it in a bedroom. When she had done so it stayed on the wall. Frances felt that the picture was too low but it seemed just right for the spirit, who had been a very short woman.

Ghosts of the Living

Mrs. Annie Smith from Yorkshire, UK, was involved in a frightening accident in 1971 when a truck pulled out in front of her car. There was a terrible collision that left Annie and her husband badly shaken but unhurt. This photograph (above) is part of Annie’s videotape taken just after the accident of insurance purposes. Who is the person sitting in her seat? Psychic investigators believe it is a "crisis image" of Annie, imprinted on the film by her fear.
