Ghost Hunting Professional Haunted House Investigation

I had no notion of how to use a pendulum or what questions to ask, so I handed it back to her after a few moments. By now, the man in the big chair had gotten up and was out in the hall talking excitedly with the group gathered there.

Of course, I sat in the chair. My husband sat in another, watching me closely. I closed my eyes, trying to feel what the man had felt. I didn’t really want to lean back in that old chair, but gradually, I relaxed and put my arms on the cold wooden arms of the chair. I leaned back all the way and wondered why I felt so tired and worn out. I have had a hiatus hernia all my adult life, which often acts exactly as though I were having a heart attack. Assuming that such an attack was coming on, I reached for my Tums and started to take one from the roll.

Suddenly, my eyes opened wide as I realized that what I was feeling wasn’t my hernia, it was a real heart attack! I almost leaped out of that chair! My husband grinned at me and said "was it bad?" I felt cold drops on my forehead. Although the June day was hot, there was an almost unearthly chill in that spot. I was experiencing my first classic cold spot. I’d read about the phenomena associated with real hauntings, but had never felt nor seen any of them before. It was an uncanny feeling.
