| Fascinating stories--both
traditional and contemporary from the north
eastern corner of Wales. Clwyd, the "gateway
to Wales" is a gate to a strange land
haunted by white ladies, red ladies, ladies in
black, ghostly princes and peasants, prelates and
pigs, and nameless, shapeless things... A huge
ghost in golden armor striding out of a burial
mound at Mold, where a gold-clad skeleton was
later unearthed. The ghost of a walled-up servant
who spoiled the bread at the bakery where he
died. A sinister, chuckling phantom who
haunted a trunk. |
