FOR TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, AND OTHER EDUCATORS

Hello, I’m Chris Woodyard, author of the five-volume Haunted Ohio series, Spooky Ohio: 13 Traditional Tales, Ghost Hunter's Guide to Haunted Ohio (August, 2000) and the brand-new Haunted Ohio V: 200 Years of Ghosts, written for Ohio's Bicentennial.

Welcome to my web site! This is also the web site of Invisible Ink: Books on Ghosts & Hauntings, the largest collection of ghost stories in the visible world. Here you can:

  1. Browse through over 650 books on ghosts from around the world which can be ordered through our secure order line or by purchase order from our Invisible Ink catalog.
  2. Read excerpts from those books.
  3. Read fact sheets including the tables of contents of the Haunted Ohio series and Spooky Ohio, as well as excerpts.
  4. Find out how your students can collect local ghost stories and publish their own ghost book.
  5. Download my biography, as well as an interview, which answers many questions young people frequently ask, to share with your students.
  6. Learn how you can invite me to your school, library or organization. Find out where I'll be appearing this year.
  7. Download a bibliography of ghost stories especially suited for young people.
  8. Learn about the Invisible Ink Collection at Bowling Green State University's Popular Culture Library, a reference/study collection.
  9. Find a list of activities you can use with young people, based on the Haunted Ohio and Spooky Ohio books.
  10. Learn why children should read ghost stories.
  11. Download my advice for young writers.
  12. Find a list of haunted Ohio sites you can visit.

Thanks for visiting! I welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement. Please e-mail me at InvisibleI@aol.com or write me at Kestrel Publications, 1811 Stonewood Drive, Beavercreek, OH 45432-4002.

Happy Hauntings!

Chris Woodyard
