Ghost Stations VII, True Stories of the Supernatural, Bruce Barrymore Halpenny, 1995, photos, 150 pp, $16.95
newinkl3.gif (884 bytes)
Ghost Stations VII A vanishing Lockhead Lightning at RAF Goxhill. RAF Bardney, Benson, Chigwell, East Kirby, where the disconnect phones still ring; Finningly, Hemswell, Ludford Magna: a touching story about a buttom from a lost love's tunic. Metheringham, Montrose, Petwood Hotel, a blazing spitfire in a hangar at Pocklington; a ghost-crew at Sandtoft. Also a rehash of Borley Rectory, Did Hitler Visit Scotland? and the mysteries of the WAAF in combat. Halpenny also ventures further afield, with stories from the Far East, including the Death Railway on the River Kwai. He also discusses the ghost of a German Afrika Korp POW in Texas as well as the haunted U-boat and Lincoln in the White House. Material seems to be running out and it may be time to lay this series to rest.

Ghosts of Gettysburg Battlefield Tour AUDIOTAPE, read by Mark Nesbitt with Carol Bowman, printed map and driving instructions, approx. 60 min. $11.00
newinkl3.gif (884 bytes)
If you are headed for Gettysburg, you must get this tape. Read exceptionally well by author Mark Nesbitt with directions by Carol Bowman and appropriate, yet unobtrusive music. Some stories told here are not included in the "Ghosts of Gettysburg" tours. This is a very fine tape!

The Ghosts of Gettysburg, Spirits, Apparitions and Haunted Places of the Battlefield, Mark Nesbitt, 1991, photos, references, 84 pp. $5.95

I can't recommend this book and its sequels too highly. Well-written, meticulously documented, and utterly chilling. The scene in which two witnesses find themselves time-warped back to a Civil War operating room is priceless.
